Course Introduction Hi, this is Milena Pajic from Pluralsight, and welcome to the course Customizing Your Team Workflow with the Best of Kanban and Scrum. In this course we will cover three modules. The first module will be Kanban and Scrum - Making the most of both. The main goal of module one is to get you familiar with both Scrum and Kanban by comparing the two. This should give you a good idea which one to choose in which situation. In the second module, Kanban from the trenches, I will show you in the example, from my experience, how you can successfully implement Kanban. At the end, in module Kanban and Scrum tools for software development, I will make an overview of available boards and tools on the market that you can use for Scrum, Kanban or both. Kanban and Scrum are very popular these days but most teams have doubts about which one to use. By the end of this course you should have enough information to help you set up the process methodology that best suits your environment. I will assume that you are familiar with Scrum and Kanban and their basics, still I highly recommend checking out two other Pluralsight courses. In this module I would like to present you four tools that I find very good and useful. These are LeanKit, Kanbanery, Excel, and AgileFant. Please note that there are other tools on the market that are equally good or better, or not so good like the ones I will demo to you today. I decided to show you these four because I really like to use them and because I just want to give you enough information so that you can have a starting point. I encourage you to use the same way that I will in this module in order to explore many other tools that are available on the market.
